Hair Journey ~ Hair Plans

sooo today has been one itchy one for my Jasmine!!! we have been the protective style of the 3pc wig all week.  and while i have loved my #LongHairDontCare this week i am even more excited to give my Jasamine a much needed pampering treatment and a full day out. i am actually sitting here fighting the urge to take this wig out right now and setting my natural free

now i did skip my mid-week oil application and massage simply because i was more busier then usual so my po baby hasn’t been massaged or moisturized since Monday night (i know, i know bad me) thus the reason why Jasmine is suffering and all itchy now.

I am thinking a good avocado treatment maybe or something reallll moisturizing overnight then Saturday allll naturelle just a leave-in and a lite oil to seal, that’s it!!! might two strand or flat twist it Saturday night for church on Sunday. then a hot oil treatment on Sunday night and then back to the 3pc wig for another week of protective styling. Think i’ll switch back to the curly wig for next week.

unfortunately i am low on some essential supplies like Coconut Oil and Shea Butter so hopefully i’ll feel up to a few stops before getting to the house.

okay well that’s it for me for now, i’ll holla later!!!

Amen to THIS!!!

Amen to THIS!!!

Hair Journey ~ Protective Style maintenance

So during my hiatus from over manipulating my natural tresses I will be my 3pcs wigs (I have 2 of them) for about the next 2-3weeks then I will attempt a sew-in toward the end of the month and keep it in for a month.

So while I have the convenience of taking my 3pcs on &off I will take advantage of the rare free time I have to treat my natural tresses. Going to start off with a Pre-poo: Softer Mango growth treatment, honey, carrot oil, EVOO, castor oil & V05 condish; let that sit in for a about 45 mins to an hour. Then I plan on washing my hair and then I will do a DC: Organic Hair Mayonnaise, Queen Helene Cholesterol, honey, tea tree oil, grapeseed oil, coconut oil, & yogurt; gonna let that sit probably for the rest of the night. I’ll rinse and braid down and install my 3pc in the morning.
